The Fittest 3 is held annually on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Teams of 3 males or 3 females compete for the title of The Fittest Team.

There are divisions to suit all levels of fitness.

The event will be held at Mountain Creek State High School, Lady Musgrave Drive, Mountain Creek.

Registrations open Wednesday 1 October at 6pm.

Events like these don’t happen without the people in our community. If you’re keen to be a part of the crew in some capacity, let us know. Our crew will share the load in shifts, so you’ll be able to volunteer and also compete!

  • The Fittest 3 is held annually on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Teams of 3 males or 3 females compete for the title of The Fittest Team.

    This event has been running for more than 12 years and is a local favourite on the Sunshine Coast.

  • Registrations open: Wednesday 1 October at 6pm

    Workouts released: From Sunday 26 October

    Last day for division/athlete changes: Sunday 16 November

    Heat orders released: Thursday 20 November

    Competition day: Saturday 29 November

  • Teams will complete 4 workouts on the day.

    Workouts will be released on Instagram closer to the competition date. This will include movement standards.

  • There are divisions to suit all levels of fitness. Choose from RX, Intermediate or Scaled.

  • RX - It is advised that you are very proficient at most CrossFit movements and be able to compete at a Quarter Finals level (top 20%).

    • Bar Muscle-ups

    • Toes-to-bar

    • 60/45kg Sandbag

    • 80/55kg+ Olympic Lifts

    • 32/24kg Kettlebells

    Intermediate - It is advised that you are proficient at most CrossFit movements and be able to complete most of the CrossFit Open workouts RX.

    • Chest-to-bar Pull-ups

    • Toes-to-bar

    • 45/30kg Sandbag

    • 60/40kg+ Olympic Lifts

    • 24/16kg Kettlebells

    Scaled - This division is perfect if you are new to CrossFit or if it’s your first ever competition. It is advised that you have a basic level of proficiency with most movements.

    • Pull-ups (optional band)

    • Knee Raises

    • 45/30kg Sandbag

    • 40/25kg+ Olympic Lifts

    • 24/16kg Kettlebells

  • Registration opens on Wednesday 1 October at 6pm. If you have joined the waitlist, you’ll get an email with the registration link.

    You will also find the link on our social channels once regos go live.

    Make sure you have your team information ready for registration. You will need a team name and athlete details for each team member. These can be updated if needed.

  • The event will be held at the Mountain Creek State High School Sports Stadium. The address is Lady Musgrave Drive, Mountain Creek, QLD.

  • The event typically runs from roughly 7:00am to 4:30pm.
